Dimethyl fumarate is referred to as DMF. It has the characteristics of low toxicity (LD_ (50) rat oral for 2240 mg/kg), high efficiency and broad spectrum antibacterial, and has special bacteriostatic effect on mold. Can be used in bread, feed, cosmetics, fish, meat, vegetables and fruits of mildew. The mildew proof effect of DMF on bread is much better than calcium propionate. According to domestic studies, DMF has a good anti-fungal ability, and its mildewproof effect on feed is better than that of acid preservatives such as propionate, sorbic acid and benzoic acid, etc., and it has a complete inhibition effect on many molds and bacteria in PDA medium containing 500 ~ 800ppm.
