Hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate is a food additive, white powder, odourless, tasteless, and insoluble in water. Can be used as a thickening agent. On the basis of etherification, the swelling power and transparency of HPDSP obtained by proper cross-linking were still significantly higher than that of the original starch. The paste is stable to temperature, acidity and shear force. No limit on maximum dosage, can be added as needed.
